The Ione Business & Community Association (IBCA) strives to develop a stronger awareness of the organization, whose purpose is to benefit local businesses, the community, and economic growth for the greater Ione Valley area.
The IBCA offers an opportunity for local area businesses to sponsor a monthly mixer on the third Thursday of each month. Members and non-members are invited to attend. This is a social event that allows for networking and showcasing of the host business. Refreshments are served and a raffle held. Cost is $5 per person and proceeds go to grant funding and community events. Board meetings are held the morning of the mixer, and open to those with an interest.
Year-round events and fundraising efforts include Mixers, Shred Day, Fireworks, Harvest Faire, and Christmas Parade.
