A somewhat hidden vista point along Highway 88, Shot Rock Vista sits toward the west of the Amador Ranger District in the Eldorado National Forest. Offering picnicking facilities, the site provides access to some fantastic scenic views.

Elevation: 7,500 Feet (2337.9 Meters)

On site facilities: 3 picnic units and vault toilets.

Directions from Amador: Highway 88, west of Silver Lake and 1 mile east of the Mormon Emigrant Trail turnoff.
