The Days of 49 Celebration kicks off with a 5 day Wagon Train Adventure, starting in Plymouth, and then on through Drytown, Amador City, Sutter Creek and Jackson with stops along the way in each town. Most evenings feature a Circle the Wagons Event where the public can come see the wagons up close, experience Cowboy BBQ’s, listen to live music, dance and basically have a great time.
On the final Sunday we Crank-up the Celebration with a Days of 49 Parade featuring the Wagon Train, Kiddies on Parade and Floats from the towns and businesses of Amador County. The Parade is immediately followed by the Days of 49 Main Street Celebration in Jackson with period reenactments, Living History stations, Kid Activities, Food Trucks, Bands and much, much more.
