Baker Street West, Amador County's entertainment venue for all things Sherlock Holmes, will hold a world premiere of a new short film, Sherlock Holmes & The True Believer, at Jackson Cinemas Is D'Place.
The True Believer, co-created by Baker Street West and Dänna Wilberg and Tim Walton of Synchronicity Films, is a Christmas story about a young boy who is faced with relentless adversity in his daily life but becomes a hero by a magical twist of fate.
The True Believer is meticulously filmed by Emmy Award-winning videographer Tim Walton in locations including Baker Street West before its relocation from Jackson Main Street, Railtown 1897 in Jamestown, Community Christian School in Pine Grove, and Dorothea's Christmas Shoppe in downtown Folsom.
The True Believer and two other short films featuring Baker Street West will be screened at the Dec. 6 gala
premiere to benefit the reconstruction of Baker Street West in the historic Old
Courthouse in downtown Jackson. Show times are 4:00, 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Jackson
Cinemas Is D’Place, 201 Vukovich Way, Jackson, CA 95642.
